Alum Rock is Moving Forward!
Dear Neighbor,
Thank you for visiting our campaign website. I have had the privilege to serve on the Alum Rock School Board since 2010. I am presently the Alum Rock School Board President.
Alum Rock went through some tough challenges. I am proud to say that I stayed and worked hard to address those issues. Thanks to my colleagues and me, we have made excellent progress. I am pleased to report that Alum Rock is on the right track:
Positive budgets for the last four years in a row
Provided 6.5 million meals to our Alum Rock community throughout the pandemic
Developed strategic partnerships with the private sector and ensured that we had the technology our students needed to continue learning
Expanded our dual immersion programs in Spanish and Launched the district's first Vietnamese Dual Immersion program
Reestablished our bond program, which has allowed us to start the renovation of our blacktops, playgrounds, and our HVAC systems
We have much work ahead of us, so I am asking for your support. I intend to finish the job that I started. My priorities include projects like teacher and staff housing, developing strategic partnerships that will allow us to keep our sites open, and continuing to ensure that Alum Rock provides quality and dignified education. I respectfully ask for your vote by mail or on November 8th, 2022.
